BIOGRAPHY
Alos Quartet was created in 1999 in the Basque Country, out of the Et Incarnatus chamber orchestra. It is composed by Xabier Zeberio, Francisco Herrero, Inazio Alkain and Pello Ramirez, musicians with vast artistic experience in both classical and modern music, that have played at the Euskadi Youth Orchestra, the Euskadi Orchestra, the National Spanish Youth Orchestra etc., as well as in several folk groups: Oskorri, Benito Lertxundi...

During these first five years together, the quartet has done many important collaborations, such as the tours with the Portuguese singer Dulce Pontes between 1999 and 2004 at the most prestigious venues. Since 2001 the quartet has been working on a regular basis with Kepa Junkera, and were involved in the promotional tour for “Maren” and in the recording of the live record called “K”.

Some of the recording sessions in which the quartet was involved: Los Piratas, Oskorri, Olatz Zugasti, Bide Ertzean, El Hombre Burbuja, Kepa Junkera, Tejedor, Angel Unzu, Ken 7, Joserra Senperena or Niko Etxart.

The quartet, that presents its first album on its own with NO-CD Rekords, starts out with a basic classic quartet –two violins, viola and violoncello- to add form time to time the very personal sound of the Swedish nyckelharpa.
